mwCMS was created in 2006. Lead developer is Claus van Beek. Patrik Rothe is developing and testing, too.

Claus van Beek
I use the german Wikipedia very often. Since I know a lot about PHP and template engines I wrote some articles there and edited some others. After some time I became a big fan of MediaWiki and decided with Patrik to create a CMS based on MediaWiki. "mwCMS" was born.

- 2003-2008: Consultant, web developer and lecturer for Imperia, PHP, XHTML, CSS and usability of websites

Patrik Rothe
My name is Patrik Rothe. I am from Lohmar near Cologne and 23 years old. My Hobbies are movies (cinema, dvd, blu-ray), football, photography, onlinegaming and coding. I finished my apprenticeship as a software developer in june 2007. My favourite coding languages are Java and PHP. Currently I work for the GKD-RSO in Siegburg.
